Original yeasts are used to ferment the water and thin the molasses, which is transformed directly into Alcohol. Kraken Spiced Dark Rum is then aged in oak barrels between 12 and 24 months before being blended with over 11 different spices, including vanilla, cinnamon, ginger and clove. The Kraken Dark Rum gets its name from the mythological sea beast which, as the myth has it, it went after and attacked tall, towering ships throughout the night. This Kraken Spiced Rum is meant to be as strong as the Kraken its self while its black colour is as dark as squid ink! It is, elegantly presented in a classic shaped bottle with two handles, a replica of a Victorian Rum bottles of old. All extra ingredients are all natural, and the Kraken Rum is gluten-free and vegan-friendly!
