Absolut Raspberri Vodka was first initially founded in 1879 by Lars Olsson Smith, and Absolut Raspberri Vodka is manufactured, in Åhus, Sweden. 

Smith introduced fractional distillation which produces Alcohol without fusel alcohol in Sweden in 1877. The Vodka's name was initially changed, to "Absolut Rent Brännvin" which means  (Absolutely Pure Vodka) hence the name Absolut, which is what Smith used to market his new and improved product, Absolut Raspberri Flavoured Vodka.

Smith also challenged the city of Stockholm's alcohol market monopoly with his new brand of Vodka. It was, sold at a cheaper price than normal, the monopoly's product, just outside the city border. Smith even offered free boat rides to the distillery and "Rent Brännvin" made Smith a fortune.

Absolut Raspberry Flavoured Vodka launched a new 11-bottle flavoured Vodka series, all redesigned and is now traditional and in an artistic fashion. But why something that this didn’t surprise us?
